Applications are invited to fill up 6302 vacant posts of Constable (Executive)-Male and 416 vacant posts of Women Constable (Executive) in Delhi Police under the following categories:

MEN CONSTABLES (EXECUTIVE) :

No of Posts: 6302 (UR-3182, OBC-1702, SC-945,ST-473)

Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs 5200-20200+grade Pay Rs 2000

Age Limit: 18-21 as on 01/072009 (Relaxation as per rule)

Qualification: 10+2 (Sr. Sec.) pass from recognized board, graduation for ex-servicemen

Physical Standard: Height 170 Relaxation as per rule)

WOMEN CONSTABLES (EXECUTIVE):

• No of Posts: 416 (UR-211, OBC-112, SC-62,ST-31)
• Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs 5200-20200+grade Pay Rs 2000
• Age Limit: 18-25 as on 01/072009 (Relaxation as per rule)
• Qualification: 10+2 (Sr. Sec.) pass from recognized board, graduation for ex-servicemen
• Physical Standard: Height 157 Relaxation as per rule)

MEDICAL STANDARD (MALE/FEMALE) :
The candidates should be of sound state of health, free from defect, deformity or disease. Both eyes should have a vision 6/12 (without glasses). No relaxation is allowed to any category of candidates on this count.
