Applications are invited in the prescribed proforma from Indian Nationals for direct recruitment to the cadre of Postal Assistants in Civil Division/PA SBCO/PA CO in Uttarakhand Postal Circle

Postal Assistant (in Civil Divisions/SBCO/CO):

• No of post: 202
• Age Limit: 18-25 years as on 05/10/2010
• Pay Scale: PB-1 Rs. 5200-20200 + 2400 Grade Pay + other allowances.

Essential qualifications:

1. Pass in 10+2 or 12th class examination of recognized University/Board of Secondary Education of State/Central Govt. with English as a compulsory subject (excluding Vocational/Professional streams).
2. The candidate should have studied Hindi/Regional language as a subject at least up to Matriculation or equivalent level.
3. Typing knowledge and computer knowledge is compulsory for all categories of PA.
