GATE is conducted jointly by Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) and Indian Institute of Sciences for the admission of students in various postgraduate courses in India. IITs are recognized amongst the finest and the most prestigious institutions in India for technical education. Therefore students apply in large numbers for GATE to do Post Graduation Courses from different IITs. The students have to be more conscious about all the topics related to their syllabus and stay in touch with ten year question papers. Candidates can submit Application Form in two different modes : Online and Offline. The preferred mode of application process is Online.
How to apply :
offline : Information Brochure and Application Form can be obtained on cash payment of Rs 1000/- (Rs 500/- for SC/ST/PD) from the designated Bank Branches corresponding to each zone (as given below). Application Form can also be obtained from the zonal GATE Offices after handing over Demand Draft for the appropriate amount.
