The Army Recruitment Office, Ambala Cantt. will conduct recruitment for 320 vacancies of Havildar Education in the Army Education Corps in Group X and Y March 2011 batch during the month of November, 2010.
The prospective candidates would have to forward their applications along with related documents to the Headquarters for preliminary screening and medical examination as per the programme. He said that the applications pertaining to other Recruiting Zones would not be accepted.
Out of the total vacancies, 130 had been reserved for the candidates belonging science stream and the remaining 190 were reserved for Arts stream.
Eligibility criteria: The applicant should be between 20 to 25 years of age as on March 7, 2010. Only male candidates would be eligible. The candidates for X group should have passed MA/M.Sc./MCA or BA/B.Sc./BCA with B.Ed from any recognized university whereas for group Y, candidates should have passed BA/B.Sc.BCA without B.Ed. from any recognized university
