To generate interest of students towards science subjects Haryana government has started a new Vigyan Pratibha Khoj scheme. Under this scheme an exam will be conducted at Sirsa on October 21 to select the students for scholarship.
Information to this effect was shared by an official spokesman that this exam would be organized under the auspices of State Educational Research and Training Council, Haryana. In addition, another test for Rashtriya Sadhan and Yogyata Scholarship 2010 and Haryana Rajya Pratibha Khoj would also be conducted on the same day at Sirsa. These schemes have been started for the students studying in class eighth in all government aided and recognized schools of the state. As per the eligibility for appearing in the test of Rashtriya Sadhan and Yogyata Scholarship 2010, the students of general category should have obtained 55 per cent marks and reserved categories students should have got 50 per cent marks in the examination of class seventh. The annual income of their parents should be less than 1.5 lakh.
The forms for Rashtriya Sadhan and Yogyata Scholarship 2010 have been made available at Vivekananda Senior Secondary School, Rania road, Sirsa and for Haryana Rajya Pratibha Khoj and Haryana Vigyan Pratibha Khoj, the forms were available at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Sirsa.
